Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin said that there is the need to train our own military personnel. Therefore, the possibility of training officers at Donetsk Higher Combined Arms Command School for the two republics — the DPR and the LPR — is being considered. Head of the DPR stated this on August 2 during a conversation with Afghan veterans and Yunarmiya members, a correspondent of the DPR Official Website reports.

“Our military school really has a great future. We have held many meetings and we see that we definitely need to train our local, professional military personnel.

There was a period when there was no time to study, we just had to defend the Republic. Now we realize that we are an accomplished state. The army must meet all modern requirements. Without military education, without good military experts, it will be hard to make headway.

Therefore, it has been decided that Donetsk Higher Combined Arms Command School will be staffed up. The military school will be training officers for both the two republics. We have a baseline and patriotism!” Denis Pushilin told.
