Since August 2014, 97 white convoys from the EMERCOM of Russia, weighing more than 45 thousand tons, have arrived in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the press service of the DPR Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.

The humanitarian cargo included foodstuffs, infant formulae, medications and medical equipment, building materials and production machinery, seeds and other commodities (stationery, clothes, shoes, household chemicals, study books, presents, etc.).

“For six years, over 1,400,000 families with children aged under 3 have been provided with humanitarian packs of infant formula; healthcare establishments of the Donetsk People’s Republic have received more than 2,000 tons of medications and medical supplies.

Thanks to the aid in the form of construction materials, socially significant facilities in the Republic were restored. In addition, citizens who found themselves in difficult circumstances received food products through the humanitarian line.
