Starting September 1, 2020, the first stage of wage increases for steel-and-ironworkers of the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics will begin at enterprises managed by Vneshtorgservis ZAO, the press service of the company reports.

This decision was made taking into account the high social significance of this step in today’s complicated situation with the unfavorable metal market conditions.

The first stage provides for a 20% salary increase at leading iron-and-still and coke-chemical enterprises: Branch No.12 Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works, Branch 2 Yenakiyevo Iron-and-Steel Works, Branch No.3 Makeyevka Iron-and-Steel Works, Branch No.6 Yasinovka Coke Plant, Branch No.7 Makeyevka Coke Plant and Branch No.13 Stakhanov Ferroalloy Plant.

In total, more than 10 thousand employees from plants and enterprises will get wage increases, first of all highly qualified specialists responsible for the plants’ units, quality of products and their turnout.

The second stage of wage increases will be considered in September, it will concern other branches of Vneshtorgservis ZAO.
