“The reserves amount to 665 thousand tons of coal of rank “T”. As of today, we have reached the production rate of 1,500 tons in the technical mode. It considerably exceeds the non-factored load. It is possible to mine more than 3,000 tons of coal per day in the future,” Sergey Chaika.
During his conversation with the members of the Longwall Operational Acceptance Commission, Denis Pushilin noted that the seventh longwall had been put into operation at coal enterprises of the Republic since early 2020.
“It is very significant. It is thanks to your selfless work that it becomes clear that any trials, which we have many now, will not take away the glory of the mining region from Donbass. We can restore the mines thanks to your labor heroism,” Denis Pushilin stressed.
The Head of State instructed the Minister of Coal and Energy Ruslan Dubovsky to award state decorations to the workers of the enterprise who distinguished themselves during the repair works after the accident that occurred at the enterprise in August this year.
“Many large-scale tasks to reform the coal industry, to ensure a proper level of safety of the mining labor, modernization of coal enterprises are a set of actions that we will have to do,” Denis Pushilin stated.
The Head of State also talked with the staff of the Komsomolets Donbassa Mine and answered all questions of interest to the workers.
“We still have to make sure that there will be no delays in wages. There are issues concerning coal price, profitability, prime cost. We are addressing them now,” Denis Pushilin summed up.
