AFU committed three acts of warmongering for the past 24 hours during the work of TKG specialized subgroups, spokesman for the DPR PMD Oleg Nikitin reported at the briefing in Donetsk on October 14.
“On the Donetsk front, militants from the 23rd battalion of the 56th AFU brigade opened fire with an automatic grenade launcher at Zhabunki. Fifteen rounds were fired in total. Small arms fire was opened at Mineralnoye from positions of the 1st battalion of the 54th AFU Brigade in the Avdeyevka area. On the Mariupol front, militants from a marine corps battalion of the 36th AFU brigade opened fire with small arms at Dzerzhinskoye from their positions near Vodyanoye and also fired two rounds with an underbarrel grenade launcher. Information about the attacks has been transferred to representatives of international organizations stationed in the Republic and to the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office to be included in criminal cases against the commanders of the 56 separate motorized infantry brigade, 54 separate mechanized brigade and 36 separate marine brigade,” Oleg Nikitin reported.
He also noted that since the beginning of the 24-hour period, just before the TCG meeting, in violation of Clause 2 of the Additional Measures for the Enhancement and Control of the Effective Ceasefire, which prohibits firing, militants from the 23 battalion of the 56th AFU Brigade opened fire at the Volvo Center of Donetsk with small arms from their positions in the Peski area. The 1st battalion of the 54th brigade fired a rocket-propelled grenade at Yakovlevka. In addition, the personnel of the 1st battalion of the 54th brigade was carrying out engineer work to improve their positions in the Avdeyevka area, which violates Clause 1 of the Additional Measures for the Enhancement and Control of the Effective Ceasefire, which prohibits changing the original positioning of the troops.
