AFU militants violated the Complex of Additional Ceasefire Control and Enhancement Measures 25 times this week, Spokesman for the DPR PMD Colonel Eduard Basurin reported at the briefing in Donetsk on December 11. In violation of Clause 2 of the Additional Measures, the AFU carried out 10 firing provocations. During the attacks, the enemy used 120mm and 82mm mortars, various grenade launchers and small arms in the direction of Leninskoye, Novaya Tavriya, Yakovlevka, the villages of Mine 6/7 and Trudovskaya Mine. As the result of the attack on the village of Trudovskaya Mine, two houses at 84 Karnavalnaya St. and 1/3 Bokiya St. were damaged. Since the beginning of the current 24-hour period, Ukrainian armed forces have carried out two firing provocations. Militants from the 56th AFU brigade’s 37th battalion fired six 82mm mortar shells on the Spartak area. In addition, an attack with the use of grenade launchers was launched from positions of 79th brigade’s 2nd battalion in the direction of the village of Trudovskaya Mine in Donetsk. Information about casualties and damage to civil infrastructure is being clarified. Also, the enemy is purposefully violating Clause 1 of the list of additional measures, particularly the ban on offensive and reconnaissance and sabotage activities. During the week, the DPR People’s Militia registered 15 such violations.
  • At the Gorlovka front, militants again carried out engineer work to build up positions near Shumy.
  • At the Donetsk front, Ukrainian military carried out engineer work 11 times at positions near Peski, Opytnoye and Maryinka.
  • At the Mariupol front, the enemy carried out engineer works three times at positions near Vodyanoye.
In addition, the OSCE Mission identified the deployment of seven units of heavy armament and military equipment of the Vostok Task Force during the week.
