Over the past 24 hours, the armed forces of Ukraine violated the Complex of Additional Ceasefire Compliance Measures four times, spokesman for the DPR PMD Pavel Fomenko reported at the briefing on January 13.
  • At the Donetsk front, militants from the 56th AFU brigade’s 23rd motorized infantry battalion opened fire on the territory of the Republic three times. From positions near Peski, the enemy attacked the Zhabunki area with 82mm mortars and twice attacked the Volvo Center’s area of Donetsk with RPGs.
  • At the Mariupol front, militants from the 36th AFU brigade’s marine battalion opened fired on the Leninskoye area with the use of anti-tank grenade launchers from positions near Vodyanoye.
The facts of violation were promptly reported to Ukrainian representatives in the JCCC in order to take measures against the perpetrators and exclude the falsification of data on ceasefire violations by Ukrainian fighters. In violation of Clause 3 of the Additional Measures, seven units of weaponry and military equipment of the AFU were found to be deployed near residential buildings and municipal facilities in the Ukraine-controlled territory. Also, in order to prevent OSCE SMM drones from detecting prohibited weapons in the areas of responsibility of the 28th separate mechanized brigade and 36th separate marine brigade, flying squads from the 306 EW separate battalion and the 36th brigade’s EW company were jamming the flight control and navigation channels of OSCE UAVs in the areas of Krasnogorovka, Lebedinskoye, Vodyanoye, Gnutovo and Slavnoye with the use of a Bukovel-AD station. These facts are confirmed by the official report of the OSCE SMM, dated January 12, 2021.
