Over the past 24 hours, the armed forces of Ukraine violated the Complex of Additional Ceasefire Compliance Measures seven times, having committed three provocations with the use of weaponry, spokesman for the DPR PMD Colonel Eduard Basurin, reported during the briefing on January 29.
  • At the Donetsk front, militants from the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 28th brigade attacked the Staromikhailovka area with small arms from positions near Krasnogorovka in violation of Clause 2 of the Additional Measures.
  • At the Mariupol front, militants from positions of the 36th brigade’s marine battalion near Vodyanoye fired 15 120mm mortar shells in the direction of Zaichenko and from positions near Talakovka opened fire with SPG on the Kominternovo area, having fired 5 grenades at the village.
“Also, in violation of Clause 1 of the Additional Measures, our observers registered three facts of engineer work on refitting positions of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 72nd brigade near Avdeevka, and the use of UAV by the enemy was detected in the Vodyanoye area. Since the beginning of the current 24-hour period, the armed forces of Ukraine have violated the Complex of Additional Measures 5 times, 4 of which provocations with the use of weaponry,” Eduard Basurin reported.
  • At the Donetsk front, militants of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 56th brigade, in violation of Clause 2 of the Additional Measures, twice attacked the area of Spartak with antitank guided missiles and fired AGS 6 grenades at the village from positions near Avdeyevka.
Also, militants of the 37th separate motorized infantry battalion of the 56th brigade, in violation of Clause 1, carried out fortification work to retrofit positions near Opytnoye.
  • At the Mariupol front, militants of the 36th brigade's marine infantry battalion fired an ATGM and one RPG grenade from their positions near Vodyanoye, and also used small arms against Leninskoye.
Information on civilian casualties and damage to civil infrastructure is being clarified. The facts of violations were promptly reported to representatives of the Ukrainian side to the JCCC in order to take action against the perpetrators and prevent falsification of data on ceasefire violations by Ukrainian militants.
