The Investigations Division of the DPR Prosecutor General's Office opened three criminal cases against commander of the 28th AFU separate mechanized brigade M. M. Marchenko and his subordinate personnel for committing terrorist acts under Article 229, Section 2 (a), (c) of the DPR Criminal Code, the press service of the DPR Prosecutor General's Office reports. The investigation established that on January 30, 2021, military personnel of the 28th AFU separate mechanized brigade, on the orders of commander M.M. Marchenko, attacked the village Aleksandrovka, the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, with the use of firearms, as the result of which a man born in 1978 suffered a gunshot wound. He was in the yard of the house at 15 Gorkogo Street when the attack happened. In addition, on the same day, military personnel of the brigade, on the orders of M.M. Marchenko, attacked the village of Signalnoye, the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, with the use of grenade launchers, which resulted in damage to the roof and windows of the house at 4/2 Gagarina Street and to the facade, windows and fence of the house at 2 Gagarina Street. Currently, investigators from the Prosecutor General's Office are conducting the necessary investigative activities.
