Investigators of the DPR Prosecutor General's Office are investigating 4 criminal cases initiated against commander of the 35th AFU separate marine brigade N.D. Palas, as well as his subordinate personnel. According to the press service of the DPR Prosecutor General's Office, the investigation is being conducted into the terrorist acts committed by the aforementioned persons under Article 229, Section 2 (a), (c) of the DPR Criminal Code. It was established that on February 2, 2021, military personnel of the 35th AFU separate marine brigade, on the orders of their commander N. D. Palas, attacked the village of the Mine 6/7 of the Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka with the use of mortars, which resulted in a gunshot wound to a man born in 1955 who was staying at 6 Smirnova Street when the attack occurred. In addition, houses at 5, 6 and 7 Smirnova Street in this village are damaged as the result of the shelling. Also, the investigation department has initiated and is investigating criminal cases against commander of the 28th AFU separate mechanized brigade M.M. Marchenko, as well as his subordinate personnel, for committing terrorist acts under Article 229, Section 2 (a), (c) of the DPR Criminal Code. It was established that on the same day, February 2, 2021, military personnel of the 28th AFU separate mechanized brigade, on the orders from their commander M.M. Marchenko, attacked the village of Signalnoye, Petrovsky district of Donetsk, with the use of mortars and grenade launchers, as the result of which houses at 12, 13, 15 and 16 Gagarina Street and a house at 2 Pionerskaya Street are damaged. Investigators of the prosecutor general's office are currently conducting the necessary investigative actions.
