Kiev officials continue to demonstrate an unstable political course and corresponding chaotic decision-making, DPR Head Denis Pushilin said.
"Statements by Ukraine's military and political authorities about their commitment to the peaceful settlement of the Donbass conflict run counter to the actual actions of the Ukrainian militants on the contact line.
We register more frequent violations of the existing ceasefire by Ukrainian armed formations, which come with provocative information stovepiping.
The attacks against civilian infrastructure are of particular concern. These facts indicate not only the reluctance of the Ukrainian armed formations' command to respect the ceasefire, but also demonstrate Ukraine's particular cynicism in deliberate attempts to disable vital facilities in the Donetsk People's Republic.
Using terrorist warfare methods, masterminding cowardly provocations and acts of sabotage, the Ukrainian militants clearly aim to destabilize the situation. In view of the established facts and intelligence data, I consider it relevant to hold, from 17 to 22 May, another inspection of the efficiency of the joint actions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Interior Ministry, the Ministry of State Security, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Transport in resolving crisis situations in the case of possible external threats coming from Ukraine. The centralized control of the state agencies' readiness to eliminate the aftermath of crisis situations, their level of interaction and operational response serve as a guarantee of our citizens' security and solid protection of the Republic," Head of the Donetsk People's Republic Denis Pushilin said.
